Suspension Polymerization (EPS)

Suspension polymerization is widely used in large-scale production of polyvinyl chloride and expandable polystyrene. KimaCell® Cellulose ether function as a protective colloid, stabilizing the suspension during the process and adjusting the particle size distribution and porosity of the resulting polymer particles. KimaCell® HPMC is used as a protective colloid in suspension polymerization to ensure the stability of the colloid.
